Stephen Holder

Stephen Holder

Managing Director

Stephen Holder was appointed to the position of Managing Director of CTG Ltd in May 2017. Stephen spent the early part of his career as an Aerosystems Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force and in the 16 years since leaving the military, has worked for Lockheed Martin, Goodrich, UTC and Ultra Electronics in a variety of Programmes and Operational Management roles.

A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, his previous role with UTC was as Operations Director for the Motor Drives Manufacturing Facility at Hemel Hempstead working on A380, A350 and KC-390 related product, focusing on New Product introduction and Continuous Improvement.

In his spare time Stephen enjoys squash, cycling and holds a private pilot’s license 

 

David Chard

David Chard

Business Development Director

David started as a graduate trainee in 1998 and has held roles on increasing responsibility including System Engineer, Lead Engineer, Programme Manager and Programme Director. David is responsible for positioning CTG for the future, ensuring growth and leading the bid activities through to contract award. David is also responsible for developing and maintaining customer relations, alignment of the business strategy and marketing. David holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Northumbria and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Warwick.



Louise Thomas

Louise Thomas

Programmes Director

Louise was appointed Programmes Director for CTG in early 2017. Since joining UTC in 2011, Louise has progressed through various programmes positions with increasing responsibility, size and complexity at both the Banbury and Wolverhampton facilities. Prior to joining UTC Louise worked in Formula 1 for Mercedes Hybrid Power Engines and Jaguar Land Rover.

Louise holds an MBA and a Post Graduate Award in Business Leadership from Warwick University a Mechanical and Manufacturing Degree from Queen’s University Belfast. Louise is also a Chartered Engineer.

Louise and her team’s prime objective is to ensure they internally represent the voice of the customer and ensure those customer’s products are delivered on-time, to the correct quality and at the most competitive price.

Joanne Fitzgerald

Joanne Fitzgerald

HR Manager

Jo joined UTC, then Goodrich, in 2008 as a Training and Development Officer. Since then she has held roles of increasing responsibility including Leadership Development Specialist and HR Business Partner for both OE and Services businesses across UTAS. Most recently Jo was the HR Business Partner for Corporate and Shared Services functions and ISR & Space Systems Malvern. Jo holds a CIPD qualification and joined the Banbury team in April 2017.

Kevin King

Kevin King

ACE Site Lead

Kevin has been with CTG/UTAS for 26 years and has held roles including Graduate Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Materials Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Director, SAP Functional Lead. Kevin has a BSc (Hons) Mathematics and an MSc Engineering Business Management .

Lisa Parker

Lisa Parker

Quality Site Lead

Lisa joined CTG in March 2015 as Manufacturing Quality Manager progressing to Quality Site Lead in January 2017. Prior to joining CTG Lisa worked within the automotive industry holding roles in Production Engineering, Project Management, Continuous Improvement and Quality Management.

Lisa holds a BSc (Hons) in Manufacturing Systems Management from the University of Buckingham.

Andrew Wragg

Andrew Wragg

Engineering Site Lead

Andrew Wragg joined CTG in 2009 and has over 17 years’ extensive experience in Aerospace & Automotive engineering and program management. He has a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering and is a chartered member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. As engineering director Andrew is responsible for leading and developing a team of multi-disciplined engineers to deliver innovative composite technologies. This involves developing close working relationships with customers to ensure that the full benefits of composites are exploited at system and aircraft level. The team strive for operational excellence in product design, analysis, test and manufacture to ensure robust certification of our products. There is also continuous focus on engineering quality including requirements, risk and configuration management. Andrew previously spent eight years in product development with two leading automotive OEMs where he developed five star crashworthiness architectures and structures using a combination of finite element analysis and full vehicle prototype testing. Andrew started his career at an engineering consultancy where the highlights included stress analysis on the Beagle 2 Mars lander, rail crash investigations, and nuclear power station seismic analysis.

Raj Rainu

Finance Site Lead

Raj Rainu joined CTG in October 2015 as a Financial Controller progressing to Finance Site Lead in July 2017. Raj is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has an Accounting for Management Degree from Aston University. Raj has a practice background having qualified at KPMG working in Audit and Management, consulting with clients in Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive and Pharmaceutical industries. During Raj’s career he has taken on a number of Finance roles in Manufacturing with increasing responsibility.

Stephen Walmsley

Stephen Walmsley

Operations Director

Stephen started with the business 32 years ago as an apprentice with Lucas Aerospace Systems. He has held various roles of increasing responsibility as the business has grown. Most recently Stephen was Value Stream Manager at the UTC Aerospace Systems/CTG Banbury facility, a role he held until December 2017 before he was appointed Operations Director for the site.

Stephen joined CTG Banbury 2016 as Value Stream Manager before taking up the role of Operations Director in December 2017. Stephen and his teams are responsible for Siop planning across the facility, engineering, manufacturing to final delivery into our customers along with ensuring the highest standards of customer excellence, built on culture, engagement and integrity through our people.

Stephen has studied Operational Leadership at Liverpool University, Quality Management at De Montfort University Leicester and Business Management Warwick University.
